The Grand Junction Area REALTOR® Association, (GJARA), has been a fixture in the Grand Valley since its inception in 1930. It has functioned as the primary real estate trade association in Mesa County representing professional REALTORS® and Affiliate members. GJARA’s prudent financial management gives us a unique opportunity to directly contribute to increasing home ownership in Mesa County. GJARA leadership has determined that we can do more to actively support our community. We are committed to putting a portion of our financial resources to their “highest and best “use and “put our money where our mouths’ are,” by investing directly into increasing local home ownership.
GJARA members have been a significant resource for our community, elected officials and consumers about housing in the Grand Valley since our inception. The association acts as an advocate for its members on issues that impact the right to buy, hold and sell property and is focused on the protection of private property rights. This advocacy focuses on the Western Slope, locally in Mesa County, Grand Junction, Palisade and Fruita. The KCCF Board of Directors includes representatives from GJARA, our Affiliates and community leaders. They will serve a one-year term except for the GJARA CEO who shall serve as the ongoing Chair and primary CAR Foundation liaison.
