Being involved positions our REALTOR® members as being actively involved in providing “housing solutions” in our community not positioned as “those greedy” REALTORS®/Developers. 

The Foundation provides an opportunity for our members/association to fund a local organization that keeps the funds local to Mesa County and still have tax deductible status. 

The funds are designed to be perpetual in nature. The balance will function as a “contribution magnet”, (while earning interest). Loans to recipients charge a below market interest rate to cover administrative costs. They will be self-funding and the total amount available may actually grow over the life of the organization.  

Additional GJARA REALTOR®/Affiliate membership value as being part of the solution rather than part of the problem. Enhances the value of the Affiliate membership for lenders 

Maximum fund expenditures will be capped at $100,000 per year unless additional funds are raised. All expenditure amounts are at the discretion of the Foundation Board of Directors.

The continuation of the Foundation can be reviewed annually should market conditions dictate a change in direction make the mission unnecessary, the uncommitted funds are able to be returned to GJARA

As a program of the CAR Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, your contribution to the Kindness Creates Community Foundation are fully tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. 

You can support our mission in a variety of ways: recurring or one-time direct donations, corporate sponsorships, matching gifts, in-kind donations of goods or services, and planned giving such as bequests or charitable trusts. 

If you are a Broker/Owner or a GJARA Affiliate, consider a pledge approach to giving that donates a percentage of your revenue from each transaction.

 If you are an independent REALTOR® you can donate on a one-time direct basis or include it as part of your unique marketing strategy.

  Direct donations can be made electronically on our website or by mail using a paper check. Every gift, whether financial or material, helps us make a meaningful impact in our community, and we will provide you with a receipt for your records. Thank you for your generous support!
